You Have to Believe We Are Magic

A semi-realistic digital painting of a luminous, magical woman emerging from the shadows, her hand outstretched as if inviting the viewer forward. Her form is made of light, soft and radiant, suggesting guidance, mystery, and transcendence.

When I was nine years old, my mother sent me to spend part of the summer with my grandmother. One day we went to the movies to see Xanadu. I already had a crush on Olivia Newton-John from her role in Grease a couple of years prior, but this movie was different. There was something magical here.

I remember having the soundtrack on cassette — Olivia’s soaring voice woven with Electric Light Orchestra’s lush arrangements. Over the years, whenever life has felt heavy, I’ve returned to those songs — especially Magic — as a kind of soul medicine.

A Song That Speaks to My Work

The other night — after a particularly difficult day — I put on the Xanadu soundtrack and “Magic” came on. As I listened, I realized that every line mirrors the work I’ve done on myself for years, and the work I now offer through Infinite Inner Work.

Come take my hand
You should know me
I've always been in your mind
You know I will be kind
I'll be guiding you

This speaks to the inner self most of us struggle to trust — the presence that’s always been within us, waiting to guide. Learning to listen to that voice changed my life. Now, when I sit with others, I hold space for them to reconnect with it too: gently, with reverence.

Building your dream has to start now
There's no other road to take
You won't make a mistake
I'll be guiding you

The moment to begin is always now. There is no truer path than the one toward your own dream, and you don’t have to walk it alone. My work is to support you, while helping you uncover the deeper source of confidence within yourself.

You have to believe we are magic
Nothin' can stand in our way
You have to believe we are magic
Don't let your aim ever stray
And if all your hopes survive, destiny will arrive
And bring all your dreams alive for you

Life itself is magic. We are magic. If we believe this, hold our aim steady, and keep hope alive, destiny meets us somewhere along the path. My role is to help you bring your dreams alive — with clarity, courage, and care.

Seeing the Whole of You

This verse is particularly striking:

From where I stand, you are home free
The planets aligned, so rare
There's promise in the air
And I'm guiding you

From my vantage point — whether reading your astrological chart, your Human Design, or simply seeing you beyond fear and self-doubt — I can recognize your unique potential. I see the promise in you that you may not yet fully see yourself.

Guidance Through Every Turn

Through every turn, I'll be near you
I'll come anytime you call
I'll catch you when you fall
I'll be guiding you

This is what it means to be an inner work guide: someone beside you through every turn, whether in a single Mirror Session or in a longer journey like Your Inward Journey or The Quiet Revolutionary Pathway.

The Magic Speaking Back

Over the past year, the song — and Olivia herself — have felt very present in my life. She passed away on August 8, 2022, exactly 42 years to the day after Xanadu’s release. And last year, on September 26, I felt called to listen to the soundtrack. On a whim, I looked up her astrology chart — only to discover it was her birthday.

Since then, small but potent synchronicities have kept appearing:

  • Listening to Magic on my way to a local shop, only to hear a track from Xanadu playing inside when I walked in.

  • Driving to the same store with Foo Fighters playing in my car, then stepping inside to hear them on the speakers.

  • Hearing Olivia’s Have You Never Been Mellow at the supermarket, out of nowhere.

These don’t feel like coincidences. They feel like echoes — as if the world itself is whispering back the very song that has shaped me. Quiet reassurances saying: Keep going. I’m here.

Becoming the Guide

As a child, I must have heard Magic as a promise from someone out there who believed in me. Today, I’ve become that someone for others — guiding them through the inner landscapes where dreams take shape and destiny unfolds.

You have to believe we are magic. Because we are.

If these words stir something in you, I invite you to begin your journey. Start with The Mirror Session, or, if you feel ready, step into Your Inward Journey.
